I escaped from the Kirksey Compound tonight to go hang with Heather, Adrienne, and Jeff. It was such a warm night that we sat out on Heather's patio (a.k.a. Lulu's) and played cards all night. At one point, I got so hot that I even took off my hoodie! Well, I am not sure if it was the temperature or that I was getting overly worked up about the hand of cards I was dealt! But it was WARM...68 degrees to be exact. I am not sure what that is for my friends in the North Country..but trust me, you would be sweating! :)
This was too cute not to post. I saw this when I walked out of the house on my way to Heather's. For those of you who don't know, the Kirksey Compound is somewhat of a dumping ground for stray animals. The latest was a pregnant cat who had four babies! So if anyone would like a kitten, call Judy!!
I was trying to get pregger A's belly in this shot, but it did not quite work out. She was the best dealer, though!
It was an intense game of Phase 10!
Heather and Jefferson..no doubt Heather has a good hand.
And of course our bff Kelly also was there! :)
